Frequently Asked Questions
Note:
These apply to 1:1 therapy sessions. For questions about Burnout Prevention for Teams, please contact me or schedule a free 15m consult).
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
Sessions are typically 45m. If you or your child require shorter sessions due to individual needs (attention span/screen time), we can chat about the possibility of a 30m session.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE/HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?
I do not and cannot accept insurance. All sessions are private pay at a rate of $100 per 45m session. I am able to generate a superbill for you to send your insurance company, but I am unable to bill them directly and cannot guarantee what they may or may not cover. If you or your child require 30m sessions due to screen time fatigue/attention span/another similar reason, please let me know and we can discuss that possibility and appropriate rates.
Equity-based pricing is available (see next FAQ)
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES/EQUITY-BASED RATES?
I offer equity-based rates upon request. If you identify as a person of color (Black, Indigenous, Latinx/Latina/Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander), a disabled person, LGBTQIA+, or a person of another marginalized identity not listed here and are interested in an equity-based rate, please include this on your initial intake form, or get in touch with me directly to determine if equity-based/sliding scale spots are still available. I'm able to accept up to 4 equity-based clients in my practice at this time, and I will update this page with the number of spots left as appropriate.
